From Ilimanaq Lodge we set off in the ATVs and drive south through the ever-changing landscape until we reach the fiord and our boat.
From here we will start the 300 horse powers and sail deep into the ancient fiord where hunters and prey have been battling for centuries. We jump ashore and start walking towards the huge glacier in front of us that looks inviting but craves humility.
This is where we start to feel like polar explorers and just want to start walking on the ice. So that is exactly what we will do. Our glacier guide explains about safety and precausions and takes us safely through the world of ice. Amazing!
Bring warm clothes, gloves and hat since the boat ride and being close to the ice can get cold
ATV and boatride can get bumpy, so join this excursion only if you are physical fit and suffers no injuries of any kind
