What to choose?

A new place and a wide range of trips – Yes, it can be difficult to choose. The first thing you need to choose is whether you want to visit in winter or summer. In winter dog sledging will be your primary goal, if you want to see northern lights this is also the season. Boat trips and shorter hikes are also possible along with our classic helicopter flight to the ice sheet.

If you want to experience the midnight sun, whales, longer boat and hiking tours or to stay at our lodges, you should choose summer time. Our main attraction all year is without any doubt the Ilulissat Icefiord which is on the UNESCO world heritage list. We say that there are 3 ways to experience this; from land, from the sea and from the air – you need all 3 experiences to get the full picture of this amazing and unique nature phenomenon.
