Terms and Conditions

Below you will find the terms that apply to your reservation with us. We recommend that you read them before booking. We also advise you to take out travel, health and cancellation insurance as well as general travel insurance, ensuring coverage in case of illness (your own, your travel companions, or immediate family members) and in the event of flight delays.

Accommodation

When you book your accommodation, the details of your stay, guarantee policy, and cancellation terms will appear in the confirmation you receive. Once a booking has been paid, it cannot be cancelled.

Excursions

When you book an excursion, you will receive a confirmation with all important information about the tour and the cancellation policy.

Cancellation or shortened excursions

We reserve the right to cancel or modify excursions and boat shuttles in the case of insufficient number of participants, poor ice or weather conditions, technical issues, community obligations (e.g., rescue or medical flights), or other circumstances beyond our control that make the tour unsafe to carry out. The captain or guide will assess whether the tour can be completed or must be shortened during operation.

No compensation is provided for altered or shortened tours. In case of cancellation, the full amount will be refunded. If changes affect other excursions or transport services booked through us, we will attempt to adjust the itinerary at no extra cost. If other tours are cancelled as a result, these will also be refunded. However, we do not take responsibility for services arranged through external providers.

If the guide assesses that a guest cannot participate due to physical ability, lack of attention, or communication barriers that may endanger the guest or others, we reserve the right to deny participation. In such cases, the tour fee will be refunded. The guide’s assessment is final.

Liability and responsibility

Participation in activities is at your own risk. We disclaim liability for injuries, losses, or expenses arising during excursions, including delays affecting onward travel.

We strive for maximum safety, but each participant must evaluate the risks independently and may choose to withdraw if they feel unsafe.

You are expected to thoroughly read the tour description for any tour you book, including ensuring the difficulty level matches your physical abilities.

Other conditions

Complaints must be submitted during or immediately after the activity, or in writing no later than 3 weeks after returning home, to info@wog.gl.

We reserve the right to change prices after booking due to changes in procurement conditions, transport, taxes, fees, exchange rates, or other factors beyond our control. We also reserve the right to correct any typographical errors in catalogues, brochures, advertisements, and on our website.
