Glacier Lodge Eqi is the oldest lodge in World of Greenland's collection of unique lodges.

Our lodge is located in the middle of the vast Greenlandic wilderness, far away from civilization and everyday life. Yet we have made sure that you do not have to compromise on everyday comforts. We have electricity so you can charge your camera; running hot water so you can enjoy a shower after your day's adventure; beautifully furnished cabins where we have not compromised on quality; and of course delicious food – because we love to spoil you.
The lodge overlooks the Eqi Glacier – the most calving glacier in the Northern Hemisphere. Scientists estimate that the glacier calves an average of once every 10 minutes during the summer. This means you are almost guaranteed to witness this deafening event. You can expect an experience beyond the ordinary when you book a stay at Glacier Lodge Eqi.
It is only possible to book a stay at Glacier Lodge Eqi from mid-June to mid-September, and as we have high demand and limited capacity, it is a good idea to book your stay well in advance.

Sustainability and consideration are part of our DNA.
We are a Greenlandic company with a Greenlandic CVR. This means, among other things, that all our corporate tax and personal tax are paid locally in Avannaata Municipality. It also means that everything we do is based on the local environment and commitment.
Our lodge has a unique location right next to the most calving glacier in the northern hemisphere, where global warming is most visible.
Therefore, we have taken a number of measures to ensure that our lodge and your stay at Glacier Lodge Eqi is as sustainable as possible, and has minimal impact on the area.
In other words, we make it easier for you to go on a sustainable holiday in Greenland.
Glacier Lodge Eqi
Glacier Lodge Eqi is open from mid-June, when the ice breaks up, to mid-September, when the frost sets in again.
