Summer - World of Greenland

Summer in Disko Bay is a very special experience. Midnight sun, huge icebergs and magnificent Arctic nature merge with small communities and authentic encounters with Greenlandic life. Starting from Ilulissat, we invite you to experience some of the most spectacular places in the area.

This week-long program is a suggestion for how to put together a trip that gets the best out of the area in one week. The trip starts with an overnight stay at Hotel Arctic in Ilulissat, then the trip goes out into nature to Glacier Lodge Eqi and on to Ilimanaq Lodge. Here, comfortable lodge stays are combined with guided hikes, glacier experiences, cultural encounters and the tranquility of the Arctic nature.

The program is intended as inspiration, and the stay can of course be adapted to your wishes and interests. Along the way, there is also the opportunity to add more experiences in and around Ilulissat - for example, whale safaris among humpback whales in Disko Bay, hikes along the famous yellow route at Isfjorden, a visit to the award-winning Isfjorden Center, sailing trips between icebergs or spectacular helicopter tours over the Ice Sheet.

This way, each trip can be put together to perfectly suit the individual guest - regardless of whether they dream of an active adventure trip, tranquility in nature or a combination of both.
